  • Re the problems people are having with shared Apple ID. It's because they are sharing the shame iCloud ID. My wife and I share the same Apple ID for the App Store and iTunes but have seperate iCloud accounts. This way we don't have any problems with relay iMessage or FaceTime. Re the weather not showing up in notifications on your iPhone. Do you guys have current location enabled in the weather app? Also I presume you have weather set as always under privacy location services?
  • I found this to work, open the weather app and having the location on seemed to solve this for me. Thanks!!!!!
  • On the iPhone 4S iOS 8 works perfectly. It is not much slower and for most things not slower at all, and if apps happen to take a touch longer to launch, they launch smoothly. Very happy with it, and certainly worth upgrading from iOS 7.
  • Also, the Mac Mini is a fantastic machine. It is the only OSX machine without without a screen that's in the price range for the average person. I have an early 2009 Mac Mini 8GB RAM which still runs beautifully and is connected to 6 year old LCD display which is still perfect and waste to throw out if I were to get an iMac. It is in Apple's and our interest and those who want an alternative to Microsoft, to have a product like the Mac Mini.
  • I couldn't understand the name of the design app Peter mentioned, and I believe he only said the name of the app once. Any chance of adding it to the show notes?
  • Affinity Designer
  • Ally mentioned some app she uses for TV notifications. I swear she said TV3 but I can't seem to find what she was referring to, anyone know? There's an app called TV3 but it's for a non-US network and is in a foreign language. Suggestions? I use Follow Shows right now but it's not great.
