Wipeout 2 brings more Big Balls to iOS

Wipeout 2 is bouncing onto mobile devices today, a followup to the original game in the series. The latest version has you running, jumping and tripping your way through 135 levels of obstacle-filled fun, with the ability to grab upgrades and challenge your friends along the way. A new mix of characters includes a zombie, pirate, and popstar to help you conquer over 150 obstacles.

If you've seen the show, you know how the game works. Choose your character, pick your course and it's off to the races. Wipeout 2 includes new abilities including speed boosts, rewinds and teleportation. Daily courses offer daily rewards, so the more you play, the more you get. If you're truly hardcore, challenge your friends and let the bragging begin on your favorite social sites.

  • Every time anyone says "Wipeout" in a game context, I assume it's the return of the old Sony Playstation game. This is probably because I'm old, too. It's ALWAYS a tie-in to this TV show which I won't watch. There probably won't be another Sony Wipeout game since they disbanded the studio several years ago. Boo Hoo.
