Mobile YouTube Uploads Increasing 400% PER DAY Since iPhone 3GS Launch
Dan Moren at Macworld quotes the figures:
In a post on the YouTube blog product manager Dwipal Desai and community manager Mia Quagliarello say that the number of videos uploaded to the sharing site from mobile phones has jumped 400 percent a day since the iPhone 3GS’s release last Friday.
As part of an overall 1700% increase year to date, you don't have to be Oliva Munn and Kevin Peirera (NSFW-L) to know how much the quick and easy shooting and uploading of video to YouTube via the iPhone 3GS will continue to push that. Truth be told, we think Apple just unleashed a TMZ-style hurting on reckless celebrities and unfortunate public fool-of-themselves'ers like the world ain't never seen before.
Little brother indeed.

1st!!! woo!!!!
great more junk on youtube
Fricken hilarious... Thinking about how many dudes have been on this red carpet vs how many dudes have been in her red carpet... They are both pretty dirty!
I'm surprised Apple will let you folks upload to YouTube since Apple didn't invent it. I say none of you Iphone junkies own your phone unless you jailbreak it. Whats up with banning a fully licensed Nintendo Emulator, oh I forgot Apple didn't invent it. Who and its so cool you folks have Video on the new IPhone. You know, since I have had full movie length videos for at least 8 years, so yea for you folks. Smack down with only the truth, shake your IPhone and it will even let you know that and a good resturant
@John
Apple doesn't own the resteraunts either
Are you sure they do not own the restaurants, oh yea if they did you would not be allowed to put Ketchup on the fries. By the way all I am saying is do some research on new smart phones and Apple does not win at really anything (try, I don't know - HTC and Windows mobile or maybe the new Toshiba, whops DREAMS BROKEN) ALL IN FUN!!! LOL
@John, I get your point about Apple being evil and everything, but FWIW (in the realm of honest discussion, I guess,) it should be noted that YouTube is owned by google, which Apple has had a partnership with since day one of the iPhone.
A partnership that has been strained at times though. In the realm of honest discussion, as a long time fan of mobile products (got my original Palm IIIc all I am asking is to be able to own the phone I use, be able to put apps that I want on my device. By the way, in 10 years of using easy to very very complex apps on mobile devices I have never done damage other than a clean reboot and system wide rebuild of custom settings.
I personally think the iPhone is a rip-off.
Well in the UK anyway. But get this. The new iphone only has a 3mega pixel camera. No wonder they are making so much profit. The iPhone doesn't have the latest cutting edge technology.
A 3 megapixel camera was in existence 4 years ago.
Evil indeed.
Can't knock their computers though.
