How to enable grid lines in the iOS 7 Camera app

The Camera app on your iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad has an optional grid that can help you better frame people, pets, and objects, horizons and celestial bodies — pretty much anything at all in your photos. Using the rules of thirds can elevate your pictures from the ordinary to the extra ordinary, and all with the flip of a toggle!

How to enable the camera grid lines on iPhone or iPad

  1. Launch the Settings app from the Home screen of your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Scroll down and tap on Photos & Camera.
  3. Again scroll down towards the bottom of the page and under the Camera section, there is an option for Grid. Turn the feature On by tapping on the slider.

How to enable the camera grid on your iPhone or iPad

Thanks for the reminder. Ended up doing a restore and set up as new, and forgot to enable again.

Thanks for this tip. Enabling now. Now then, can anyone please tell me how to reverse the "selfie" image so it will save the the same way it looked to me before I snapped it instead of the inverted version? I was able to fix this in an old Samsung Galaxy phone that did the same thing, but I cannot find a way to rectify it on my new IPAD Air. Please help! This reversed perspective drives me crazy!
