How to switch between the front FaceTime and rear iSight camera on your iPhone or iPad

The Camera app on your iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad lets you easily switch between the rear-facing iSight and front-facing FaceTime cameras. That means you're never more than a tap away from capturing a breathtaking landscape or... the obligatory selfie.

How to switch from the front-facing to rear-facing camera on your iPhone or iPad

  1. Launch the Camera app on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Tap the Flip camera button in the upper right hand corner to switch between the front-facing FaceTime and rear-facing iSight cameras.
  3. Tap the Shutter button to capture a photo or start taking a video.

Now fess up — do you take more photos of the things around you, or of yourself? Selfies or... elsies?
