AT&T combines TV and wireless with first DirecTV deals, starting from $50 per month

Now that AT&T has had its acquisition of DirecTV approved by the FCC, the US carrier has cemented plans on offering new bundles, providing customers with a selection of TV and wireless packaged plans. These new packages start from $50 a month, but you'll be able to grab a $10 discount if combining a new plan with a wireless subscription.
Here are the price points AT&T will be hitting with its new DirecTV plans (per month for 12-months):
- DIRECTV Select or U-verse U-Family - $50
- DIRECTV Xtra or U-verse U-200 - $70
- DIRECTV Ultimate or U-verse U-300 - $75
- DIRECTV Premiere or U-verse U-450 - $125
Since a $10 discount is available for the above, when combined with a wireless subscription, you'd be able enjoy coast-to-coast wireless services, with 10GB of shareable data for $160 per month, and add the DirecTV Select $50 option to total the cost at $200. AT&T also has a few broadband options available, starting from $30 for up to 6Mbps.
Finally, AT&T will offer DIRECTV and U-Verse TV customers who switch from another wireless provider $300 bill credit when they buy a smartphone on AT&T Next and trade in an eligible smartphone. The company is now selling DirecTV at more than 2,000 stores nationwide. You can find out more about AT&T's latest offer by visiting the US carrier website.
