Best of Beats 1

One of the best parts of Apple's Beats 1 is the lineup of unique shows that the station has assembled. Apple Music subscribers can listen to each full episode on demand, or skip to the new playlist with tracks from that week's show. This week, we've got new episodes from Elton John, St. Vincent, and Pizza Boys.

  • Rocket Hour - Elton John hops on FaceTime for a talk with Tom Misch to discuss the release of Misch's new album, Geography. Music on the playlist this week includes Parker Millsap, George Ezra, Childish Gambino, and Irit.
  • St. Vincent's Mixtape Delivery Service - This week, St. Vincent helps a listener combat feelings of inadequacy that she's facing have moved to a new city, with a mix starring the likes of Phoenix, Paolo Conte, Arctic Monkeys, and Gino Soccio.

  • I wish it were easier to discover and share curated playlists from non-Apple sources. It would be nice if iMore could cover the best and easiest ways to discover, browse and share user-created playlists for Apple Music.
  • Does the Apple Music still does 256 VKBPS or switched to 320 KBPS ?
  • Appreciate this info, I find it useful. Keep it up. In other related issues, do you have any idea why Apple Music continues to put songs in my favorites playlist that I have disliked? This has been happening since I signed up over a year ago, and it just won't stop recommending songs that I don't like. It has really become a sticking point in my continued subscription.
