published

When users grab the 10.0.7 update, they'll be able to peruse and Moments, Collections, Favorites, and albums from the Photos app and add content from them to their iMovie projects.
Additionally, the update brings support for Sony's XAVC-S format, along with minor adjustments to various UI elements.
Photos for Mac, which was just released for wider consumption with the public beta of OS X 10.10.3, allows users to view and manage photos stored in iCloud and replaces both iPhoto and Aperture.
If you'd like to grab the iMovie update, you should be able to snag it from the updates section of the Mac App Store now.
