Hide your TV in plain sight with $200 off Samsung's The Frame 4K UHD smart TV

TVs all kind of look the same these days, and not in a good way. They add a lot of visual clutter to a room, particularly when not in use, and depending on the size, some end up dominating the entire space. That's a problem Samsung set out to solve with The Frame (opens in new tab). Instead of being a blank black slab, it's a 4K UHD TV set that, when not in use, transforms itself into a work of art and today only you can save $200 on the 43-inch version (opens in new tab) at Amazon. That brings its price back to the lowest we've seen for this year's model at just under $1,000.
Samsung The Frame 43-inch QLED 4K UHD LS03 Series Smart TV (opens in new tab)
This 43-inch UHD TV transforms into a work of art in a matter of seconds.
At its heart, The Frame is a UHD panel with smart TV functionality giving you access to all the usual streaming services and a full web browser. You can control the TV by voice using Bixby, or with the included OneRemote or free accompanying app. Each also has 4 HDMI and 3 USB ports for hooking up all your devices.
The real magic happens when you switch from TV Mode to Art Mode. Instead of being a black expanse, The Frame shows art from the Samsung Art Store. There are hundreds of pieces of art to choose from including collections from the V&A Museum, the Tate Gallery, and the Van Gogh Museum, and the display will refresh as often as you choose. You can also add up to 2GB of your own photos via the app or simply hook up a flash drive. An ambient light sensor ensures The Frame maintains a natural look, rather than looking like a screen. It also comes with a 'No Gap Wall Mount' so The Frame hangs flush to the wall just like a real picture frame would with just one slim cable connecting your power and video gear to the TV. You can also buy a variety of magnetic bezels for your Frame to customize the look or match your home decor.
