2015 is coming to a close, and Google's YouTube division is celebrating with their annual Rewind video celebration that showcases the people and the clips that were popular on the video service in the past year. This time, Google is also using its Rewind event to reveal a new Trending tab for its mobile apps as well as its web site.
Google says:
It's the best way to catch the videos, creators, and trends that people watch, share, and talk about each and every day. See 'em as they take off and before they appear in YouTube Rewind 2016.
Speaking of taking off, here are YouTube's top 10 trending videos for 2015, which Google said were watched for a total of 25 million hours:
