AnoStyle anodized color options for iPhone, iPad now available

In case you've been living in a drab black-and-white world and missed the preview last month, our own Ally Kazmucha has teamed up with The Pod Drop and is now providing a fancy new color service for the iPhone and iPad. It's called AnoStyle and it's anything but your typical color modification service.

AnoStyle not only adds color to your iPhone or iPad, but also provides an anodized finish (just like the iPhone 5 and iPad mini) with enhanced durability that actually meets military grade requirements. In the case of the iPhone 5, it will greatly minimize the scratching and scuffing issues in addition to providing fantastic new color options.

Since Anostyle is a modification of your original iPhone 5 parts, failure rates often associated with third party color kits do not apply. And since the repair experts over at The Pod Drop will be the ones handling the process, your device will be in good hands the whole time.

AnoStyle is now available for order online. Turn around time will be about 1 week.

You know what would be even sexier? An all black option. Remember the "rendered leaks" that had everyone fooled? That black would be super sexay! Please consider, and talk this out with your colleagues.

Question is: will it void your warranty?

*edit* Nevermind, it's in the FAQ:

In short, yes. Any modification, like AnoStyle™, typically voids your manufacturer’s warranty as well as any extended warranty you may have purchased. If you still decide to use the AnoStyle™ service, we can offer you affordable repair options through The Pod Drop if you do ever run into issues with your device. You can find a list of our repair pricing and services offered through The Pod Drop:

And wouldn't this make it harder to sell ur iPhone when the new iPhone comes out? U might like a certain color, but buyers of a used iPhone may not.

Absolutely gorgeous, but at $250 ($300 iPad Mini) + shipping and a voided warranty, I'll sadly have to pass. :(

This is awesome! Glad the option is finally here...but too bad I can't afford it. The green on the black looks amazing!

Colorware forces you to buy a new phone and adds an additional $850 to the cost of a full price iPhone 5 (so a 16 GB is $1500) and doesn't do nearly as good of a job as The Pod Drop. They also take up to 4 weeks to get it to you. $250 is a really good price.

The gold and copper looks pretty sick... but for $250 plus shipping both ways, no iphone for 1-2 weeks, and void warranty... "you must be trippin'"
