New Sony 'Lens Camera' leak would look great with a gold iPhone 5S

We've heard rumors of an iOS compatible 'Lens Camera' attachment from Sony before, and that the rumored device will be compatible with iOS. The latest leaked image not only suggests a name – Smart Shot – but also a new, interesting looking white and gold color scheme. Perfect for that gold iPhone 5s that we're expecting to see announced on September 10.

I've written before some of my thoughts on the Smart Shot, and I'm genuinely excited to see what may come of it regardless of color. I'm always excited to see new ideas given a shot, whatever the mass market appeal may or may not be, and so I'm looking forward to getting my hands on one. Hopefully, that will be next week at IFA 2013 in Berlin, where I'll be with Alex and Phil from Android Central.

But back to the color; more gold. What do you think of it? Would you consider an attachment like this with your gold iPhone 5s?

Looks pretty cool. Does anyone know where I can get more info on it? And apple doesn't usually partner with other companies, but lately they've been partnering with quite a few (for them anyway).

It's a robot that just dies when it's removed from iPhone.
Or an under-sized, extremely expensive hockey puck.

If it had a viewscreen on the back, and if it could be used as an independent camera without being near an iPhone, then it would be much cooler. IMHO. (And no, I haven't read the specs, so I don't know all of its features.)

I'm sceptical as to the practicability of an attachment like this, but in terms of photography there are few things that beat a good lens and a big sensor.
I might be tempted to buy something like this.

like it, along with the good quality of the iPhone 5 anyways it will probably make great photos. I might grab one if it isn't way overpriced.
