I'll shoot this down, before it leaves the ground. Your using the rate plan AT&T provided you with. That's not your fault. But, just call Customer Service us, and ask to be removed from the PDA plan and get put on the SMARTPHONE plan. If you want text messaging, ask for the SMARTPHONE MAX plan. It's the same as the iphone feature. And no, you don't lose anything from it. You'll still get the internet. You just won't spend as much. And I'm an ex-employee so I'll tell you here and now, the PDA Connect feature is Cingular marketing to get you to pay more. Cingular states that any device with a qwerty keyboard is a pda so assign the pda plan. Even if it's a Windows Mobile SMARTPHONE edition device, ie. blackjack. So do yourself a favor, get whatever you want. I personally HATE the iphone. But get the feature plan that serves YOU best.
