Since iPhone has the iPod built in I am hopeful for in 2.0 a "Bluetooth Tweak" to be able to hear my iTunes not just Phone Calls. Stereo Bluetooth would be the ultimate audio enhancement for iPhone but may be a bit much to hope for without a H/W change as I have a 2G.

i hope we can see UI changes to be much more attractive although it"s so beautiful right now.....

But i have one Q? isn't apple seeding new firmwares to developers and we will see nothing new more than they have and we know right now or there is another firmware in the development that is hidden until monday .... hope so

I THINK I WOULD HAVE 3g it wiLl record video it will have a MAC STORE GPS AND TV and all updates will be free and a better way to take weather.

This link should fill you in on Spore, and gaming on the iPhone in general. Aside from that, I have even heard that the iPhone rivals the power of the PSP as a portable gaming machine and leaves the DS in the dust... Only time will tell, but it is grounds for optimism.

A while back i had seen something that was talking about EA's upcoming game SPORE. If anyone knows about this game, its been in production for what seems like forever. But what is the real likely hood of seeing this game come to the Iphone. I've been waiting for the next generation portable gaming system, and i think the 3G iphone might be it!

I don't even know anymore... My anticipation level is through the roof and I don't even like adding to the speculation of what could be coming because I am afraid I am painting a picture in my mind of a device that will never come to be, at least not this year.

Apple can be slow to make big changes, but with all the hype and desire surrounding the 2nd gen iPhone, I can't imagine them —of all companies— failing to deliver. The biggest things I hope for are the following:

-Quick-linking phone numbers from the Notes section of Calendar entries. -Saving web images is coming; what about email images? -Multiple attachments per email would be nice too. -Better camera with a flash. -Cut, Copy and Paste!!!! -MMS would be cool, but I can get by with the email workaround if not.

That's about it for me. There are plenty of other things I really want, but those are the big ones as far as I am concerned. Now, I just hope this comment formats properly...

I am hoping for a more stable safari. It seems to crash at least once or twice a day right now. Also MMS would be nice.

I am so glad I got my iPhone when they launched... it's been a crazy cool smartphone, and going to it from my WM 5.0 XV6600 "brick"... well, let's just say that what the iPhone doesn't have, I haven't missed. The updates to the iPhone just keep getting better and better. Can you imagine where it will be in another year?

I just want MMS support and the ability to take video. My last phone had these abilities and I didn't realize how much I'd miss them until I didn't have them anymore.

A lot of the software listed will make it into the next gen iPhone. However, IMHO, the biggest wow will come from improvements in the UI and navigation capabilities inherent in OSX for the iPhone. The recent Android demo has me thinking that in the last 18 months since the launch that Apple has no doubt found ways to do things on this platform even better than in the original flavor. So while all of the above are welcomed, natural extensions on this platform the biggest will be the platform itself. And just in time to kick all of the iClones right where it hurts.
