I’ve only had an iPhone since the original one was released. Now on the iPhone 4, on 1st Jan 2011, only today have I found google streetview, doh! I am quite disappointed that whoever designed the map interface didn’t make it easier to find- it is like an easter egg. It is beautiful to use once you find it though.

I have an ipod touch 3g and i can get street view and its not jailbroken.

Just the fact that I had to search online on how to activate means is a bad sign. It is hard to find and should be a button on the main map display.

My iPhone went into a way more detailed view than this (I’m talkin 360 features), but it did it by mistake. I want to do it again but I don’t know how it did dat in the first place. Does anyone know how to go in farther on the iPhone?

You can enable street view on iPods .. Only if u have it jailbreak

It was so hard to find when I first got it. But after playing with it for a little while I eventually found it.

Major UI failure on Apples part here. I don’t know anyone who found it easily, and were all tech-savvy!

The street view looks great. Too bad it’s not available on the iPod Touch.
