I pretty much agree with the awards...especially the "Innovation if the Year."

The App. Store is possibly my one favorite thing about the second generation iPhone. It allows me to customize it the way I want (as far as Apple's close-environment ecosystem goes). My iPhone is no longer just "a cool toy that carries my entire iTunes library"; thanks to 3rd party apps from the App. Store (Notebook, Toodledo, Weather Channel, Wunder Radio, etc, etc) my iPhone has SURPASSED my Palm Treo 700p as my most productive device to date.

Massive props to Steve Jobs - he reminds me of director James Cameron. Yes, he's incredibly stubborn and some people think he's arrogant but he has that one thing that no one else does: VISION. Like Cameron, Jobs is cursed with a vision, and it's your job (the developers) to make it happen.

Happy New Year. I got a bold on Monday and loving it. Contemplating if I keep both or trade in my iPhone 3G or dumb it down to a quasi iPod touch.
