Our renters moved out a few months ago and left us having a mess to clean up. Not just have been there holes in the wall, they also destroyed doors, window frames and carpets. They had been quite smart and covered up the damage with pictures, posters and curtains so we didn't realize the extent of the damage until they have been gone. Now we are fixing up the house so we can rent it again. Thankfully, this career is a lot easier as we have a laptop with wireless capabilities. I hate all ambient sensors, anyway (especially for lighting). I’m constantly readjusting everything. I want everything cranked up to 11 all the time and just left alone.

This patent will not be granted. Its far too obvious.

Even lowly Honda Accord has an ambient noise sensor to manage the radio volume, compensating for road noise. There is nothing new here. This technology has been in many electronic gadgets for years, including high end TV.

Some high-end restaurants use this technology backwards, to turn DOWN the music, when the noise of patron chatter becomes so loud you no longer hear or need music to elevator music to cover conversations.

You can't take common technology from one machine and apply it in another a machine and obtain a patent. Those days are over.
