Copy/Paste! MMS! Kevin Rose’s Last Minute iPhone 3.0 Rumors

By , Monday, Mar 16, 2009

Kevin Rose jumped on Facebook video (login to Facebook required) to basically confirm what he said previously about copy and paste, saying it would be across apps, with cut available as well in those apps that support it (?).

He also confirmed hearing MMS would be enabled from multiple sources, something he said he didn’t know previously.

A third, unidentified rumor was mentioned but not elaborated on as Rose said he had conflicting sources.

That was it from Rose, though hopefully not from Apple. Just over 12 hours from now we’ll find out for sure!

Idgaf about copy paste but mms is crucial. I can’t tell you how nudes I’ve had to go to viewmymessage.com to view

    ugh

  2. It’s about time for copy and paste, but I don’t think Apple’s ready to give in to all our wish list yet, and hence, I feel that MMS will still be left for future versions.

However, seeing the huge jump in version numbers, I think it’s kinda right to expect radical new offerings as well, same thing as when 2.0 was launched.

My hunch is that this version has sumthin to do with the new iTunes mostly. Then again, who cares about it? Unless they have copy and paste, that’s when I’m gonna be jumping for joy. MMS? Hmm, sure, but copy-paste first, please.

  3. Nelle says:

    Yea apple is very selfish

  4. Mufdriver says:

idk copy and paste, idk MMS, love it how it is!!

  5. Wolfmore says:

Great! Like someone said: copy paste now that we have had it already for jailbroken phones. I’ve been enjoying Hclipboard copy and paste solution for a while now it is essential to me now. In fact using it right no to copy what i’m writing every few sentences in case safari crashes on iPhone and I lose what i wrote before I post. I will be very interested to see Apple’s cut and paste solution. I’ll still use hclipboard though…it’s awesome.

  6. Tunnelrunner says:

Man, todays gonna be nuts. Cannot wait…;)

  7. MANGU says:

KEVIN ROSE: Why does this monkey Boii rears his hairy @SS everytime Apple “officially” announces an event!

all I know where to put that thumb of his!

video Conferencing for 3G…memba dat, I do

  8. MANGU says:

dang copyandpaste, that’s what we pin our hopes! your willing to agree to another At&t contract extension of 3-4000 out your pocket for that feature!

today they better bring it, kitchen sink and all!

freaken three years is alot of time for technological advancements for just only copy and past. This feature was invented almost 30years ago!!!!!!!that’s as old me, but I digress.

  9. Jeep14 says:

    A2DP! PLEEEEAAAAASSSEE

  10. MANGU says:

    thing better shoot lazers beams!

  11. Yancey says:

Yeah copy & paste would be cool. But we should get mms already. It’s a disgrace that the iPhone still does not support it. Every phone out in the market supports it. Here’s hoping! Don’t let me down apple!

  12. Greg Iphone User says:

Apple is going to let everyone down. Their new 3.0 release is going to down-grade every program. Hell they might even throw in shuffle for your contacts. So you can call random people instead of calling the person you really wanted to contact.

  13. MANGU says:

    GREG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

dude you almost made me spit my coffee all over my paper work!

    hahahahahaha

  14. Steve says:

MMS is not going to be around for many more future versions, so if Apple does cave, it’ll be now, not later. Sorry, but I believe this the last chance for MMS on the iPhone.

  15. scottb says:

SOMEBODY please – STOP posting crap about this moron Rose! Send him to TMZ where he belongs…
