This is very cool and I sure can’t wait for a product that does something like this… but is this video not hilarious because the guy is SUCH a geek?! I mean, if you look up “geek” in the dictionary, I’m pretty sure his picture will be in there. Good on him – Respect and all that, for choosing to spend his Saturdays on that…
@Pdrive: I concur, this guy meets all the criteria of geekdom.
Kinda like my Linux friends who will port linux to run on a toaster just cuz they can!
And only true geeks bother the world with their half-finished ideas captured on video.
Still, it brings warmth to my heart to see just how excited he gets….
A thought, why not strap the iphone to the bottom of an rc plane, get the iphone to use the gps + acellerometer + wify to control the plane, and the G3 network to send commands and receive situation updates and photos.
