Hello,
I'm following your podcast from Australia.
It's great to get my weekly infusion of iPhone news.
One thing I noticed: whenever a feature is blocked for iPhone (by Apple or At&T) your general reaction is to look for reasons in AT&T policy.
I would like you to consider that we are suffering from same lack of features (no 3G streaming, no VOIP on 3G and so on) although we are not on AT&T.
So I really believe Apple is to blame as much as AT&T for perpetuating these crazy restrictions all over the world.
Something to consider and maybe include in your comments.
Thank you.

I dont buy the piracy argument to block jailbreaking. Why doesnt Apple just PREVENT IPA'S FROM BEING INSTALLED THROUGH ITUNES. Easy fix, and jailbreakers can still have their Cydia apps. Win Win situation

Cost is not a determinant of price, the two are independent variables. Cost does impact the supply curve, suppliers are generally willing to produce zero units at prices that produce no profit. But what the market will bear determines price. No matter what it costs, if nobody will pay what you're charging there is no sale.

Good podcast this week.

If AT&T indeed reads this blog, you should publish Chad's Rollover Data suggestion.

The most important question should be HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO MAKE AN IPHONE APP? that should determine the price. I disagree with the idea that Tweetie 2 is too cheap for 2.99 because how many people will buy it for $10?You dont have to be an economist to think like one; the lower the price, the higher the quantity purchased. I also personally think BEEJIVE is too expensive. No one is oblidge to make an iphone app or to buy one,i am very sure apple started making iphone so as to enter the mobilephone industry( communications) no to promote applications or games mobile phones.
