iPhone to Hit Orange UK November 10
Long anticipated, longer rumored, the iPhone is finally set to hit UK’s Orange network this November 10. Carphone Warehouse and Phones4U are both expected to offer the Orange version of the Apple iPhone, though there’s no word yet on pricing (they’re — sigh — looking to “add value” rather than “reduce cost”).
With O2 exclusivity ended (but the iPhone still for sale on their network), Vodafone ramping up soon as well, and rumors of 3 next year as well, so UK iPhone lovers will have what US readers still lack — a huge amount of carrier choice.
Orange claims 200,000 registrations on their iPhone “interest” page. Are you one of them?

I’m going 2 orange
Before O2 I was with Orange, wouldn’t go back. They had terrible data plans (expensive). They need to have an unlimited data plan just like O2 for the iPhone
I -was- one of them. Then I got tired of not hearing anything and just went with o2 lol.
Tried Orange once; I ended up cancelling the contract within the grace period (30 days). I live in the northwest and couldn’t get a steady signal anywere. It cracked me up that they struggled in the Orange shop in Preston. I think o2 are quite safe LOL.
i am currently with orange and have been with all major uk networks and find orange pretty decent their data bundle is pretty much onpar with the rest in the uk except o2 iphone data plan which is unlimited but dearer that the rest after the first year that is. and remeber orange practically introduced the unlilited txt option in the middle range tariffs in the uk with their dolphin so look forward to see what i phone plans they off
I have been with Orange for 15 years. They went through a questionable phase when first acquired by France Telecom but are now very good at customer service and their network coverage is good. I am going to upgrade to an iphone as long as the handset cost isnt mad.
Was with orange and only jumped ship 3-4 months ago for iPhone. Oh well I enjoy my iPhone as is. Wen contract is up I’ll look for cheapest then.
