Games don&#039;t use more than 2 threads now but give it a bit and they will, sooner rather than later. So with that said you are going by clock speed to make your opinion rather than looking at the benchmarks. The only dual core processor that stands up to the i7 is the X9100 which is almost $600 more. &lt;/p&gt;
