Nielsen: iPhone Most Popular Phone in the US

Nielsen reports that the iPhone 3G is the most popular phone in the US with 4% "embedded base of all subscribers".
BOGO-buoyed BlackBerrys come in a close second, followed by Motorola's monstrous RAZR. Now that's the sheer-face-of-the-cliff-style functionality drop-off right there, isn't it?

That's pretty remarkable really
Amazing how stats are read by certain people. One blackberry model is second. All Blackberry models on this list amount for 6.3%. I'd like to see an entire list to see how adding all models together for all brands actually works out. With only ten there isn't even the iPhone 2G, or iPhone 3GS listed. Just curious.
Well the curve is there most popular phone isn't it.
But even the curve 8300 had several models. 8300, 8310, 8320, 8330, 8350i. All withe different feature sets. I don't think that qualifies as one model. And iPhone is doing it on a single network as well.
It would be nice if mine would ring instead of going to vmail.
They needed to do a survey to tell them this? I could have saved them a lot of effort and money.
Wow the Voyagr and dare are a lot more popular than I thought.
Are people such Iphone marks you cant read? Like Adam said above BB has 6.3% if you ask me BB is #1... Thats what i read from this study. (and before you start flaming me my phone is an Iphone) I just can't believe all the Apple Kool-Aid you all drink.
BB what about LG? add all thier phones up and LG is doing pretty good, 1st place!
Considering the the original Motorola Razr was released 5 years ago next month 3rd place is pretty impressive. The Razr really didn't change that much over its lifespan (better cameras, voice control and 3g network).
