1. Great to see the name change back to iPhone live.
2. Rene, with regard to the million dollar question: First of all, great thought-provoking question. I think Steve Jobs has taken note of Android's recent rapid accelerations in market share gain, and has decided to use all arms of the Apple legal apparatus to stifle the growth and distribution of Android (read: HTC) devices. As Chad has said before he wants to avoid a "Windows 2.0" so to speak. Furthermore, it just makes sense to concentrate all efforts on HTC at this point, both because of its key alliances with Google as well as its (presumably) less expansive patent profiles relative to some of the other firms you mentioned such as Palm. The honest truth at this point is that a company like Palm is just not a business threat to Apple, and even though Jobs and Schmidt sat down for coffee, Apple knows that the biggest and most imminent threat to its dominance in the smartphone (and perhaps tablet) industry is none other than Google. So to answer the question, I would predict an intensification of their HTC litigation efforts for the time being, and then potential future lawsuits against other Android manufacturers (I'm thinking Motorola). Then there's always the possibility of RIM in the future...
