Plastic screen protectors are increasingly becoming a thing of the past, and just like how BodyGuardz went from wet to dry application on their traditional line of film-based products, they've gone from plastic to glass on their new line of Pure protectors.
With an H8+ hardness, ultra-clear, smudge-resistant finish, the coolest part is putting it on. Just line it up, pull off the covering, and then tap the middle and the adhesive spreads out like a nano-tech army, lightly but securely bonding the BodyGuardz Pure to your iPhone.
Check out the easy installation in the video above and let me know what you think, is glass the future for everyone?
The iPhone is one of the most popular phones on the world, yet almost 6 years later it's still not on China Mobile, the largest carrier in the world, and unavailable in any official way to China Mobile's over 700 million subscribers. Discussions have been going on for years, of course, and earlier today Apple's CEO Tim Cook met with China Mobile's Chairman Xi Guohua in Bejing to keep them moving.
According to T-Mobile CEO John Legere, the company is seeing a huge intake of new iPhone customers and this is before it actually officially has the phone on its network. Speaking at their 2013 Citi Global Conference in Las Vegas today, Mr Legere claimed that T-Mobile was seeing around 100,000 iPhone activations every month. He also claimed that T-Mobile serves around 1.9 million iPhones on its network.
While AT&T won't be announcing their Q4 2012 financial results until January 24, they just couldn't help but slip out a teaser regarding record smartphone sales in the quarter. How record? 10 million devices, up from 9.4 million in Q4 2011. That includes iPhone, Android, and Windows Phone, but based on previous quarters, that's likely to skew hugely towards Apple and the iPhone 5 launch.
With Google's latest generation of better designed iOS apps, including Google+, Gmail, YouTube, Google Search, Google Maps, Chrome, and more, the iPhone 5 is once again among the very best Google phones on the planet. iOS may not enjoy the deep integration into everything Google that Android does, but for most things, the overall performance of the iPhone, and the ability to use the best of Google alongside the best of Apple, all on one device, makes for an incredibly compelling experience.
And it's been a while since any Apple or Google user could attest to that with anything approaching conviction.
Here's the idea, instead of covering up your iPhone screen with your fingers when you want to control a game or app, Sensus provides touch sensitive technology built right into the back and side of their new iPhone case. So, you can scroll or tap or do other gestures on the Sensus case, and leave your iPhone screen free for your eyes.
How does that sound? Can you see yourself controlling an on-screen game via the back of your iPhone?
CES 2013 is about to kick off and we are being inundated with new accessories. One of those that really stand out is the Griffin PowerDock 5 which is a counter top charge that can charge up to five devices at the same time from one power outlet. If you live in a home like me, this particular accessory could come in really handy; we currently have three iPads and three iPhones that constantly need charging.
