Pokémon Go Trainers, the final of the Ultra Unlock Bonuses is Unova Week. Trainers around the globe were able to complete eight challenges during Pokémon Go Fest 2020, and so all Pokémon Go players will be rewarded with an entire week of Pokémon originally discovered in the Unova Region. What can we expect from Unova Week?
What are Ultra Unlock Bonuses
As is tradition with Pokémon GO Fest events, Ultra Unlock bonuses are rewards players can earn for everyone by completing challenges. Throughout day one of Pokémon GO Fest 2020, Trainers had over 30 global challenges tied to the Rotating Habitats. Every eight challenges that were completed by players around the world unlocked one additional Ultra Unlock event week for a total of three events.
Ultra Unlock Week Three: Unova Week

Because Trainers completed 24 challenges, we unlocked Unova Week. This week will focus on Pokémon originally discovered in the Gen Five Unova region, some of whom will making their Pokémon GO debut. One such Pokémon, Bouffalant will be available to encounter in New York City and the surrounding areas. Unova Week will run from Friday, August 14, 2020 at 1 PM PST to Friday, August 21, 2020.

Pokémon Go Fest 2020 Makeup Day
In addition to Unova Week and all it entails, the Makeup Day Event for the Pokémon Go Fest 2020 technical glitches will also be happening this week. On Sunday, August 16, 2020, from 11 AM to 2 PM local time, all players who purchased a Pokémon GO Fest 2020 ticket will have access to this event. Three different habitats will be featured during this event, each lasting for one hour:
- 11 AM: Fire Habitat
- 12 PM: Water Habitat
- 1 PM: Friendship Habitat
Other bonuses Trainers can enjoy this event include:
- A special free box containing two Incense and two Remote Raid Passes
- Rare Candies in Friend Gifts
- One hour long Incense
