Tim Cook defends design of new Smart Battery Case for iPhone
Apple's new iPhone 6s Battery Case has drawn a bit of ire from some due to its distinctive "hump," and now Apple CEO Tim Cook has offered his thoughts on the new accessory. Speaking with Mashable at one of Apple's Hour of Code events in New York City, Cook took defended the case's design by pointing out the benefits of its flexibility compared to stiff offerings from other accessory manufacturers:
Cook went on to explain that he doesn't think of the new accessory as something you'd use on a daily basis, pointing out that it's better suited for hiking or overnight trips. And on the term "hump," Cook simply said "You know, I probably wouldn't call it 'the hump."
