Apple releases Mac OS X Lion 10.7.3 update

Apple has released Mac OS X Lion version 10.7.3 and while there doesn't seem to be any new goodies for iPhone or iPad users, if you're running Apple's desktop OS, it's waiting for you via Software Update.

OS X Lion was first shown off at Apple's Back to the Mac and presented as taking iPhone and iPad innovations back to Apple's traditional computer lines. While some of the changes have been welcomed with open arms, others have experienced birthing pains, and hopefully this and future updates help take the rough edges off. Either that, or 10.8

The 10.7.3 update is recommended for all OS X Lion users and includes general operating system fixes that improve the stability, compatibility, and security of your Mac including fixes that:

-Add Catalan, Croatian, Greek, Hebrew, Romanian, Slovak, Thai, and Ukrainian language support -Address issues when using smart cards to log into OS X -Resolve issues authenticating with directory services -Address compatibility issues with Windows file sharing

Apple releases Mac OS X Lion 10.7.3 update

What does this have to do with iOS? I though this site was all about iOS devices and not Mac stuff. Rene, are you going to update us when Windows 7 SP2 comes out? It has as much to do with iOS as a mac does, it runs iTunes....

Um, yeah. And we always have. We cover any big point upgrades for Windows and Mac, because that's what a lot of us are using with our iOS devices. Always have, always will.
But we never let facts get in the way of old fashioned comment complainers :p

Well, I updated mine at 10 this morning and nothing but gray screen 7 hours later.........Apple support has been stumped too.......ugh, not good. They did tell me there has been a "few" reports of machines not taking the update well.

I tried to use the same code and compile it and run it locally in Adobe Air 2.6. I got the stream error: "Error #2044: Unhandled IOErrorEvent:. text=Error #2032: Stream Error". Anybody can point a direction to how solve it? I thought that Air is less on security checking

Much awaited relief it works great thank you but now I have a dead ibook icon that wont go away but Im not complaining I will get rid of it eventually, now unlock 4.11.8 for my iphone 4 and that would make it complete thanks again!!!!!!!!!!
