AC/DC finally gives iTunes the green light, complete collection now available to buy

AC/DC finally gives iTunes the green light, complete collection now available to buyAfter The Beatles music finally made its way onto iTunes, AC/DC were one of the only huge bands that did not have a presence with the iTunes Store. Thankfully that has now changed and you can finally get all of their brilliant albums directly from iTunes.

All of the albums have been specifically remastered for iTunes and are available at different prices depending on how popular they were. You can also buy single tracks if you prefer to do it that way. AC/DC also have two huge compilations, "The Complete Collection" which includes every AC/DC studio album to date as well as well as live albums and compilations, this costs $149.99. The other box set is called "The Compilation" and just includes all of the studio albums, you can pick this one up for $99.99

If you’re into rock ‘n’ roll, you really need to be adding some AC/DC to your iTunes collection, there are so many classic tunes like Highway to Hell, Thunderstruck, Whole Lotta Rosie and Back in Black to name just a few!

That's a Whole Lot of Rosie

Even though it's straight forward three-chord-riff-rock, it's a 1000 times better than The Beatles. Lot of great songs with plenty of great hooks n solos.

I was extremely excited to see this. I have 12 of their albums, and they were one of the last artists yet to be matched by iTunes Match. But low and behold NONE of their albums matched. All that was matched was back in black, but those were matched back when iTunes Match first released last year, even though it wasn't available on iTunes.

I've tried updating iTunes Match, turning it off and on again, to no avail. Anyone else having this issue?

EDIT: I have got it working, apparently once iTunes uploads a song, it will no longer try to match that song. So to force it to match them i had to delete the songs and tell it to also delete from iCloud. then re-add them to iTunes, update iTunes Match, at this point it will say that the songs have been removed from the cloud. then highlight those songs right click and "add to icloud" viola all matched.

Very inconvenient but at least now its working. Apple should really add some way to re-match or re-try matching a song.

The big hold out for me now is Garth Brooks! He is only selling his CD's in Walmart of all places.

lungho says:

Well I think Garth knows his target audience well.

....sorry, I couldn't help myself.
