What a difference a week makes. LEGO embracing the digital age with Life of George iPhone and iPod touch game [video]

Well known children’s toy company LEGO is bringing its toys into the digital age with the upcoming release of “Life of George”. The game consists of three main parts, a pile of LEGO blocks, a play mat and most importantly an iPhone app.

The idea of the game is to build the models shown on the iPhone with the actual Lego blocks. When a player thinks they have completed the model they need to take a picture with the iPhone or iPod touch. The app will then calculate a score based on the speed and accuracy of the finished model.

Edit your photos with King Camera for iPhone

The photography app King Camera for iPhone received a huge update today. It is jam packed with editing tools that cater to both beginning and advanced photo editors.

I played around with King Camera for a big today, and, boy, does it have a lot of features. What I really like about it, however, is that the developers were able to include all these editing tools without making the app feel cluttered. Not to mention, the UI is just beautiful - and I'm a sucker for gorgeous UI's.

TiPb Asks: What are you expecting from the Let's Talk iPhone event?

The Let's Talk iPhone event is less than a week away and can I say it's been the weirdest, most bizarre build up to an Apple event ever? First we got no new iOS beta event in spring, then no new iPhone at WWDC in June, then Steve Jobs resigned as CEO, and through it all we've seen everything from a rumored iPhone 4GS with no redesign whatsoever to a rumored iPhone 5 with a bigger screen and metal back.
