Apple TV starting to ship
The new, 2010 Apple TV is starting to ship. TiPb readers, along with readers of other sites are all getting their notification emails from Apple. We've only seen "prepared to ship" notices, but *MacRumors" is starting to see actual shipment notifications as well.
That might be US-only for now, however, as mine and a few others internationally are still seeing "ships in September" on our orders with nary an email in site. Here's hoping Apple's production machine is in full swing and Apple TV makes its global debut this week.
If you've waiting on a new, AirPlay and Netflix-equipped Apple TV, let us know when you ordered, where you are located, and what your order status is.

Oh yes! Mine will be here tomorrow. Hope I can play apps on my TV. If not, a jailbreak should be done ASAP!
I checked my bank info this morning and noticed the charge from Apple, so I presume that means it has shipped. I've not received any noticed as to when it may be delivered, so I'm hoping for tomorrow. If so, it will be like Christmas, I have about 3 other packages coming in tomorrow :)
Got my shipping notification sometime over night. Says delivery will be the 29th before 10:30 am.

Fedex tracking says delivery by 4:30PM Thursday.
Ordered mid September in Germany. Still no shipping. Date to ship 11. October.
Ordered from Canada on Sept. 1st.
Received shippment notification yesterday evening with a Fedex tracking number.
Estimated delivery: Wed, Sept. 29.

I ordered mine minutes after Steve Jobs made the announcement. I received a shipment notification over night and my estimated delivery date is Sept 30. Unfortunately I’ll be traveling tomorrow and won’t be home to welcome my baby.
Ordered mine on September 1st in Las Vegas. Received a notification today (9/27) that it was shipped. Nothing yet recorded on Fed ex's tracking page.
Ugh I should have preordered. Do you think they will show up in Apple stores by the time people start getting them in the mail?
Even if its overkill, for $99 I am gonna get one... Apple has set a price point that is too hard for me to resist.
I ordered mine last week and it says that it will ship around Oct. 21. Ouch. That's a long ways away. Could there really be that many backordered?
I ordered in Mid September, for Canada. Say's Date to Ship Oct.8th and Delivery Oct. 15th.
I pre-ordered mine on September 3rd but says ships October 15th now. It was showing "Ships September" last night. Since I am located in Memphis, I thought I would be sooner than later :(

I got a shipping notice for 9/30 delivery, and just got an update that it has been deferred to 10/5. I ordered on first day.
Same as Jim. Ordered the 1st day. It did say September 30th until a few minutes ago, now it says October 5. Picked up in China.
But I saw this same action when I ordered another Apple product. It pushed back the ship date upon pickup then moved it back to the original date a day later. So we'll see.

I ordered my Apple TV an hour after the presentation and it says that my shipment will not arrive until October 5, although it did ship today. Should I be angry? Or am I just impatient?
Ordered it at 11:39am PDT Sept 1st, the second Apple store went back online the day they announced it.
It is scheduled to arrive on Sept 30th.

Count Australia in the list of countries that are shipping the 2010 Apple TV. I received my shipping notification late last night. I also have a few other friends who also got theirs. We all ordered the day it was announced.

Got the notification overnight. Oct. 5th by 4:30PM. Woo Hoo!! :)
I'm in the UK and I got notification that it was on its way out of HK yesterday. TNT seems to think it will arrive on Monday, 4th, but I'm hoping it may turn up for the weekend.
In New Zealand. Mine was shipped on the 27th.
Mine will deliver in 1 hours time! So excited!
