Microsoft has patched Office for Mac 2011 bringing it to version 14.4.5 tonight. The update includes several bug fixes and security improvements.
This update fixes critical issues and also helps to improve security. It includes fixes for vulnerabilities that an attacker can use to overwrite the contents of your computer's memory with malicious code.
If you happen to use Microsoft's suite on Mac, both Microsoft and Apple recommend that users of Office 2011 update to the current version as soon as possible.
