Apple holding Black Friday online shopping event
Apple Online and Apple Retail have only one sale a year -- Black Friday, held the day after Thanksgiving -- and Apple has already got a helpful reminder posted on their website:
Come back to the Apple Online Store the day after Thanksgiving for a special one-day-only holiday shopping event. You'll find dozens of great iPad, iPod and Mac gifts for everyone on your list.
We doubt we'll see any discounts on the iPhone, but iPod touch has had them in the past and it's the first year for iPad so who knows? Last year savings included $5 on a Magic Mouse, $11 on an iPod nano, $21 on an Apple TV, $41 on an iPod touch, or $101 on a MacBook Pro or iMac, so anything is possible.
If you're not in the mood to get out of bed at 4 in the morning and would rather shop from the comfort of your own home, head on over to the Apple Online Store this Friday to see what kind of deals you can grab.

Most of their discounts wouldn't even cover the sales tax here in AL. That being said, I've become intrigued enough, that if they offer $20 off the new AppleTV...I'm in.
I don't know about the US store, but the Canadian store is showing iPhone 4 from $549. I think the initial price is $659.
I'll be checking the Apple Store from my iPhone on Black Friday. I'll be staying at my grandma's over Thanksgiving weekend and she has no internet. Woe is me, I hope the prices will be updated in the Apple Store app for the iPhone.
Melwan: if you click on that price you will see that is the 3Gs price. iPhone 4 is still $659.00 and $779.00. Someone messed up.
I really hope people are not considering standing in line for a $5 savings!
@MaxBurn: It's not Friday yet :D wait and see
On second though, yea I guess u r right :/
I am definately in for a discount on the already low priced apple tv.
Another useless device. Speech to text still does not work. Text to speech then just make a phoen call!
