Navigation By TeleNav - TeleNav GPS Plus updated and on sale
Navigation By TeleNav - TeleNav GPS Plus has been updated with the ability to log miles and upgraded apps. Additionally, TeleNav has cut the price in half. It is now $9.99 for a full year of service and only $0.99 for a 30 day free trial.
New features in the update include:
- “My Mileage” – users can log the miles they travel and easily export them to email or Excel for reporting
- Traffic Flow Indicator on the navigation screen provides view of traffic on the route ahead
- Maps have been upgraded and are now cleaner and easier to read
The app also includes:
- Spoken directions with street names
- More than 22 million Places including businesses, local landmarks and others
- Gas station searches sorted by price
- Multi-tasking support with TeleNav GPS Plus navigating in the background
- Automatic rerouting when a turn is missed
- “Shake-to-Go” allows users to simply shake their iPhone to start navigating home

a 99cent free trial! What a deal!
Is this a good nav app? I've been looking for something.
It doesn't works good to my expectation. I also used another navigation iPhone app Gogo Navigator USA & CAN. It also has an in-app purchase Live Traffic which updates real time traffic for clear routes & road hazards with TTS, pedestrian navigation & 3D maps. While comparing this two apps Gogo Navi works awesome with accurate updates. Have a look on it http://bit.ly/gogo-navigator
