The Vauxhall Adam -- or OPEL, if you're in mainland Europe -- hasn't been on the market for long, but from today each Adam that drives out of the showroom will have Siri connectivity. But, current owners aren't left out, as they can take their car back to Vauxhall for a free update to their Intellilink to give them Siri in their car as well.

What do we want to see in iOS 7? That's a question I've been trying to answer since pretty much the moment after iOS 6 launched last year. But this being the final week before WWDC 2013 it's the last chance everyone here at iMore, staff and friends alike, have to stretch our imaginations and let our number one wishes for iOS 7 really fly.

Intel CEO Paul Otellini has stepped down from his post, but not before divulging some interesting revelations in the process. As it turns out, Otellini and Intel turned down the chance to work on the original iPhone, now with some element of regret. As Otellini told The Atlantic:

The US Department of Defense, which has been preparing to allow its employees to use iPhones and certain Android devices for some time, is expected to grant security approval for devices from Apple and Samsung in the coming weeks. There will be separate security approvals for iOS and Samsung Galaxy device. DoD employees will be allowed to use iPhones and iPads for non-classified communications like email. According to the Wall Street Journal:

Smartphones outshipped feature phones for the first time in Q1 2013, with the iPhone reaching a new first-quarter personal high for shipments. Apple had the second-highest number of smartphones shipped, coming in behind Samsung.

The Home button is the most used and arguably the most important button on the iPhone. For everyone new to smartphones and to mobile computing, it's an escape hatch that they can press at any time, any where, and immediately be returned to a safe, familiar place. For more experienced users, it's a way to activate everything from Spotlight to Siri, the fast app switcher to the accessibility menu. Because the Home button serves so many purposes, for so many people, the mechanical switch itself is subject to an incredibly high level of use, and potential for wear and tear.
