Best iPhoneography of the week

Every day, millions of photos are taken around the world, and a good chunk of those are taken on an iPhone. It's no wonder why — the iPhone is super portable, has an amazing iSight camera and an incredibly easy to use Camera app. Combine that with the ability to share photos instantly via Twitter, Instagram and other social networks, and you have the perfect solution for capturing and publishing any moment imaginable. So, each week we're going to scour the social networks for uplifting, inspiring, touching, and all around amazing photos using #iphone #iphoneography #vscocam and similar hashtags and embed the best of what we find. And since iMore has an Instagram account now, if you really want to get our attention and get featured, use #imoregram to make sure we don't miss it. Enjoy!

10 things you need to know about the Apple Watch

10 things you need to know about the Apple Watch

Last Tuesday I got to watch Tim Cook introduce the Apple Watch, then got to spend some time trying it on, running through the demo, and hearing about the features. For an unreleased product, there was still a ton of information provided. That's probably why we're seeing some confusion about what exactly was said, when, and how. If you go back and re-watch the keynote or look at Apple's Watch page, you'll find a lot of the recent questions, and almost all of the recent "new information" was actually stated right there on stage or spelled out in black and white on the web. Much of the rest was addressed in the demo area. (I live-tweeted a lot of that.) So, in an effort to put it all in one place, and hopefully put some minds at ease, here's what you really need to know about the Apple Watch!

NSFW: Apple, U2 and looking a gift horse in the mouth

NSFW is a weekly op-ed column in which I talk about whatever's on my mind. Sometimes it'll have something to do with the technology we cover here on iMore; sometimes it'll be whatever pops into my head. Your questions, comments and observations are welcome.

At the end of Apple's recent iPhone 6 and Apple Watch event, Tim Cook had one more surprise up his sleeve: U2's new album, Songs of Innocence, would be available to every iTunes Store customer in more than 100 countries, completely free. Many people are happy for the new album, but it's created an equal amount of controversy. It's just a free album, folks. Settle down.
